Location: on a remote working schedule, based in Calabria, preferably in the area of Catanzaro.
About the Role:
We are looking for a Clinical Sales Representative for Calabria. We are looking for a clinical/sales profile willing to start a successful career within Boston Scientific in a sales role.
The ideal profile has a biomedical engineer degree or similar, or nurse degree, with experience in an operating room and/or in a hospital sales role. At least upper intermediate level of English is required.
As a Clinical Sales Representative (CSR), you'll play a pivotal role in providing clinical support to assigned accounts within a designated territory or region. Your work will be driven by strategic account planning, addressing customer needs, and navigating the sales process effectively.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Contributing to the development of an annual strategic plan by providing detailed business intelligence to Regional Sales Managers (RSM), National Sales Managers (NSM), and Marketing teams. This includes analyzing market size, trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape.
- Supporting RSMs in understanding account-specific needs to facilitate the development of effective account strategies and plans.
- Providing medical personnel and field staff with support during procedures after thorough training, serving as a competent contact person and consultant for medical management and staff.
- Identifying, managing, and reporting sales opportunities derived from clinical support to RSMs, supporting the sales team in clinical selling based on provided information.
- Delivering excellent product in-servicing, evaluations, and continuous procedural education to maintain market share at BSC accounts.
- Actively participating in customer, company, and industry-sponsored events and meetings.
- Supporting the sales team in gathering information about upcoming tenders and negotiation opportunities based on clinical support.
- Developing and implementing proactive plans, in collaboration with Regional Sales Managers and team members, to enhance service quality for customers.
- Conducting procedural training, providing clinical support and therapy development, and managing clinical evaluations to ensure excellent product in-servicing and product evaluations, ultimately securing BSC market share.
- Recording customer information and activities in the company's CRM system for alignment with other roles.
- Performing periodic updates with respective Sales Force and Commercial Contracting organizations.
What are we looking for in you:
- Years of Experience: 6 months-2 years' experience as a nurse or in a clinical role (including internships) or in the healthcare industry in general.
- Qualifications: Biomedical Engineer or a nursing degree.
- Languages: Fluency in English and the local language.
- Previous Med-Tech Experience: Preferably, candidates should have some exposure to the operating room environment during their studies.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of operating room procedures and familiarity with medical technology.
- Technical Insight: Ability to provide technical support and training, gaining knowledge across product divisions.
- Disease Therapy & Clinical Knowledge: Proactive in building knowledge of research and clinical studies, understanding medical practices, and treatments.
- Business Planning: Capable of contributing to sales planning, understanding customer priorities, and contributing to account strategy.
- External Stakeholder Management: Ability to build relationships with clinicians and other stakeholders, adapting approach based on varying needs.
- Internal Collaboration: Skills in collaborating across teams and functions to achieve goals and meet customer needs.
- Self-Management: Demonstrates drive, resilience, adaptability, and personal productivity in achieving objectives.
- Sales Execution: Understanding of the sales process, influencing techniques, tender management, deal making, and negotiation skills.
