About the Role:
We are currently looking for an enthusiast and talented Legal Counsel to join the Italian Legal Department based in Alba (CN – Italy). As Legal Counsel Procurement, you will be reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel Procurement and Compliance Counsel Region Italy and you will be working to ensure that the business and legal objectives are met in a timely and accurate manner and you will advise, mitigate and resolve legal issues and risks as an effective legal business partner.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating (in Italian and in English) the following agreements: non-disclosure agreements, services agreements, procurement agreements (i.e. outsourcing agreements, warehouses agreements, IT license agreements, lease agreements, real estate sale-purchase agreements, energy agreements, waste management agreements, purchasing of goods), intercompany agreements, logistic agreements, manufacturing agreements, contracts with Public Administration, bank guarantees, letters of patronage and comfort letters, etc;
- Legal research and analysis to update the company and the main stakeholders on relevant case law and changes of legislation that may have an impact on Ferrero’s business activities, that include – among others – e.g. contracts law, procurement contracts law, competition law and regulations on unfair trade practices, etc;
- Daily sound and practical legal advice to various Ferrero’s departments (e.g.: Procurement, IT, Energy, WPM, Operations and others);
- Proactively supporting the above-mentioned departments in identifying and monitoring legal risks connected to their business activities and encouraging solutions aimed at mitigating such risks;
- Setting up and delivering to the business units training materials and programmes on Ferrero Group policies and relevant legislation/case law, in accordance with Ferrero Group priorities and with the relevant business needs;
- Daily management of internal clients, which include young professionals and the management;
- Preventing and managing potential litigations related to the above-mentioned area of competence;
- Coordinating external legal counsels and attorneys, both for judicial and extrajudicial activities;
- Supporting the business internal clients in ensuring the achievement of the Group's priorities;
- Ensuring the compliance with Ferrero Group contract templates and with all Ferrero Group Policies and procedures, including but not limited to the Contract Policy, the General Data Protection Regulation and relevant policy, the Antitrust Policy (and competition law) and the Anti-Bribery&Corruption Policy.
Who we are looking for:
Profile
- Italian Master’s Degree in Law (master in Business Law will be considered as a plus);
- Well-qualified lawyer with at least 3-6 years’ experience (with particular reference to civil/commercial law and contract management) as in-house lawyer and/or in law firms (mix of both work experiences will be considered a plus);
- Proven contract drafting skills and excellent contract negotiation skills;
- Business and commercial acumen and cross-disciplinary mindset;
- Good verbal and written communication skills and sound presentation skills;
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks and to coordinate projects;
- Able to take end-to-end responsibility;
- Both an independent worker and a strong team player, very flexible and approachable;
- Sound and well-grounded judgment and intuition;
- FMCG experience is a plus.

Languages
- Fluent in English;
- Any other language is a plus.
