Job description
Position: Network Engineer
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking an experienced Network Engineer. If you possess the following qualifications we encourage you to apply:
Mandatory Requirements:
Proven experience in configuring and troubleshooting LAN networking equipment in a complex networking environment with at least 1000 remote endpoints. This includes switches routers/firewalls and VPN devices. Proficiency in troubleshooting using protocol analysis tools (e.g. Wireshark) and conducting indepth analysis on network data captures is essential.
Analytical and technical knowledge of DMVPN IPSec OSPF/BGP is required.
Experience in supporting and troubleshooting 4G/5G modem technologies. Multivendor experience is preferred.
Experience with Cisco hardware and Cisco IOS software in a complex TCP/IP environment including routing port forwarding/NAT and VPN management.
Experience in supporting and configuring wireless network equipment from vendors such as Cisco Ubiquiti Aruba.
Experience working with business users to understand their business requirements and implementing technical solutions to meet those requirements.
Experience configuring and managing network equipment using centralized management consoles (e.g. Cisco IoT Dashboard Cisco Meraki etc.). This includes keeping firmware up to date and standardizing device configuration.
