TITLESQL Database Administrator

IMP SKILLS

Mandatory Skills:

1. Install configure and maintain SQL Server Clusters and PowerBI Report Server.
2. Monitor and optimize SQL performance.
3. Develop complex data extracts applications reports dashboards and adhoc queries by using TSQL.
4. Research troubleshoot and resolve data issues.
5. Work within the project team to assist with system analysis and application design.
6. Work closely with Business Analysts and customers to refine requirements and ensure data quality.
7. Collaborate on the definition development and maintenance of standards and processes.
8. Must possess expertise with TSQL and development of stored procedures.
9. Report writing experience with SSRS and PowerBI.
10. Drive continuous improvement and automation in BI solutions and processes.
11. Work effectively with System Administrators Project Manager(s) Developers Customers and Management.
12. Participate in a team development environment using JIRA.
13. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Skills:

1. Degree in Computer Science business or related discipline.
2. Knowledge of data integration e.g. extract transform and load (ETL) process development/support.
3. Able to develop and troubleshoot SSRS reports and PowerBI dashboards; requires good analytical skills.
4. Experience with data access performance tuning and database performance optimization.
5. Application Development Lifecycle knowledge and experience.
6. Data transport protocols e.g. SFTP XML and JDXDML.
7. Experience with Case Management data and/or Justice System data.
8. Documentation of system support information.
9. Basic understanding of networking principles.
10. Ability to analyze system resource usage and constraints.
11. Strong communication skills; ability to interact at all levels including management.
12. Works independently and follows through on assignments.
