We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst to join our Accounts Receivable (AR) team. This role will be responsible for overseeing all AR processing activities and managing the AR staff. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial accuracy optimising processes and ensuring timely collections.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the endtoend AR processing cycle including invoicing billing cash allocation and reconciliations.
- Supervise and mentor AR staff providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and update financial databases and spreadsheets regularly.
- Ensure compliance with sales tax regulations and prepare sales tax returns.
- Utilise enterpriselevel accounting software such as Sage Intacct NetSuite or similar platforms for AR management and reporting purposes.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with a relevant professional certification (e.g. CPA PCNC).
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar role within an international company.
- Proficiency in inventory management principles and practices.
- Experience handling high volume transactions and managing large AR portfolios.
- Some experience of sales tax laws and regulations with handson experience in sales tax return preparation.
- Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g. Google Sheets) for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with Sage Intacct NetSuite or other enterprise level accounting software and report writing capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven experience in staff management including performance evaluation and coaching.
- Strong bookkeeping skills and attention to detail.
- PC with dual monitors less than 3 years old and excellent internet connectivity
