THE OPPORTUNITY
Our commitment extends beyond GSE rental, leasing, and maintenance; we prioritize sustainability through our dedicated Eco Centres. In several locations around the globe, these Eco Centres are hubs for refurbishing GSE, ensuring their safe, operational, and functional state for redeployment in operations with TCR customers or resale in the second-hand market through our remarketing team. This process involves meticulous inspection, maintenance, repair, and replacement of components as necessary.
As our Equipment Refurbishment Manager, you will hold a crucial position responsible for coordinating the diverse operations of our Eco Centres. Your role encompasses executing our sustainability strategy, managing subcontractors, implementing stringent quality standards, and overseeing the orchestration of GSE conversions.
WHERE YOU’LL THRIVE
§ Align the capacity of the workshops with operational needs and commercial pipeline.
§ Ensure on-time performance of refurbished GSE to local entities.
§ Gather support from entities to establish dedicated Eco Centre capacity.
2. Local Manager Support
§ Collaborate closely with local Eco Centre managers, guiding and aligning their strategies with global objectives.
§ Offer support and expertise in implementing best practices and resolving operational challenges.
3. Subcontractor Management:
§ Cultivate a network of subcontractors to support Refurbishment activities.
§ Collaborate closely with TCR's Fleet department on planning and execution to streamline operations.
§ Implement robust Refurbish strategies aimed at enhancing rental and remarketing revenues.
§ Develop proactive tools for fleet management to optimize operations and maintenance.
§ Forecast resource planning in alignment with rental and remarketing requirements, ensuring efficient utilization.
5. Quality Standards Implementation:
§ Drive compliance with Refurbish quality standards across Eco Centres and subcontractors, ensuring consistently high-quality refurbished GSE.
§ Uphold customer satisfaction by delivering refurbished GSE in excellent condition, meeting and surpassing expectations.
§ Maintain strict adherence to budgetary constraints for all Eco Centre operations while delivering exceptional results.
6. GSE Conversions Coordination:
§ Coordinate GSE electrification conversion demos in synergy with operations, commercial, and asset management teams.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
§ Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into actionable results.
§ Technical background or orientation; familiarity with industrial equipment, GSE and aviation is advantageous.
§ Commitment to sustainability practices and a results-driven mindset focused on achieving strategic objectives.
§ Exceptional collaboration and communication skills.
§ Strong analytical, structured, and organizational abilities.
§ Proficiency in MS Office Tools, project, and process management.
§ Positive attitude and a team player.
§ Proficiency in English. Knowledge of French is a definite plus.
