Job description
The Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) Analyst position within the Office of Data and Analytics (ODA) validates cleans analyzes and disseminates the Indiana BRFSS dataset in order to garner public health insight.
Purpose of Position/Summary: The BRFSS Analyst position within the Office of Data and Analytics (ODA) validates cleans analyzes and disseminates the Indiana BRFSS dataset in order to garner public health insight. Working independently with some guidance from senior staff the incumbent conducts general data analysis contributes to complex data analysis completes data quality checks builds visualization and reports presents key findings and provides guidance and review for identified critical BRFSS projects. This role serves a subject matter expert for the analysis of BRFSS data at IDOH.
