Job description

Title: Project Manager

Location: Remote

Seniority on the skill/s required on this requirement: Mid.

Estimated Duration : 1 year with possible extension

Work authorization: any (candidate must be authorized to work in CA)

Musthave skills : 5 years of experience in Project Management. Project Management Certification or Designation is required. A broad understanding of IT processes is required which includes but is not limited to IT infrastructure security systems networks cloud computing applications and programming. Knowledge of or experience with HL7 message standards and integrations

Responsibilities:

• Deliverables may include but are not limited to: Generate Project status reports Comprehensive project plan (Gantt chart WBS resource plan communication plan Risk register and decision documentation Project charter Kickoff and subsequent project meetings (including workstream meetings)

• Provide direction coordination implementation execution and completion of projects while remaining aligned with strategy commitments and goals of the organization and various stakeholder groups.

• Developing managing and reporting on schedules costs resources risks and project objectives at various levels of the organization. Leading project teams to meet objectives and stakeholders expectations and providing direction and clear communication of the vision for project success.

• Developing and executing risk management and mitigation plans. Balancing competing goals of project stakeholders to achieve consensus on project outcomes while maximizing business value of the project.

• Collaborating with stakeholders from various health organizations throughout the province to ensure successful change management and adoption in addition to a successful transition to operations.

• Other related work as required

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in business administration information technology or another related field.
• Project Management Certification or Designation
• Minimum five years direct experience in project management preferably supplemented with demonstrated experience in: Project Plan development and execution Leading Largescale Projects and teams Quality Assurance and testing methodologies Experience in Digital Health related projects
• Recent experience in the delivery of IT projects in the healthcare sector advising or working collaboratively with senior stakeholders (healthcare and clinical teams) would be an asset
• Ability to proactively anticipate and manage changes in project scope
• Indepth knowledge of both traditional and agile project management tools techniques and methods
• Demonstrated ability to lead project teams in a matrix environment and engage diverse groups of stakeholders
• Strong awareness of privacy and confidentiality
• Proficiency in project management software tools
• Demonstrated equivalencies may be considered.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills; experience in stakeholder engagement sessions
• Possess superior interpersonal and communication skills
• Possess excellent time management and organizational skills
• Must be a detail oriented analytical and an independent thinker and be able to focus on details in the midst of change
• Capable of managing to a deadline
• Strong written skills; able to compile and organize technical and nontechnical information from a variety of sources
• Ability to balance multiple tasks
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Visio PowerPoint and MS Project
• Knowledge of the Provinces health care system
