Description:
The Azure AI Platform team at Microsoft is looking for a Infrastructure Engineer/Developer for Azure OpenAI Model Serving Team. This critical role is key to the efficiency quality and availability of the platform that serves state of the art models from OpenAI on top Azure Machine Learning for both internal engineering teams and external customers. You will be working with global engineering team to make sure the availability of GPU scaling up GPU pools working on automations for deploying ML models using Azure tech stacks.
Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in C# (required). Python(nice to have)
- Experience in Software Engineering/Development with proven experience coding in languages including C# Python and Azure cloud platform;
- Specifically prior experience working on C#; Azure Machine Learning platform and related Azure frameworks; Geneva Actions; cloud scale monitoring and analysis with Geneva Monitors/Metrics Kusto PowerBI or similar; Azure DevOps pipelines/workflows/EV2 releases/etc.; and PowerShell or other scripting technologies (Python etc.).
- Solid debugging testing and problemsolving skills with good knowledge of data structures;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work crossteam and collaborate well with others.
Preferred
- Experience working in or supporting cloudscale infrastructure components;
- Awareness & passion related to cloud scale monitoring and bigdata analysis;
- Proven track record of delivering projects that include multiple components;
- Ability and eagerness to work across and partner with multiple engineering teams to achieve business goals;
