W Rome is casting for a seasonal Style Supervisor / Housekeeping Supervisor to join the first W Hotel in Italy. Reporting to the Director of Style, the Style Supervisor is in charge of coordinating housekeeping activities. What you'll do - Co-ordinate housekeeping activity, planning and distributing room-cleaning assignments
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after being cleaned by Housekeeper to ensure quality standards.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues and missing or damaged property
- Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms.
- Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities, specially laundry activities
- Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
- Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
- Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in assignment sheets/workboards. Communicate issues to next shift.
- Complete required paperwork.
- Assist management in training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures;
- Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
- Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
- Support team to reach common goals.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the Housekeeper Manager.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and the St. Regis brand guidelines
What we’re looking for - At least intermediate Italian and English
- Previous housekeeping supervisor experience in a luxury or lifestyle hotel
- Understanding of rooms operations, luxury hospitality standards and outsourcing companies
- Ideally, technical knowledge of Opera, GXP
- Reliability, Motivation, attention to details
- Strong passion for luxury housekeeping standards and procedures
