Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud architecture on the AWS platform. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline our development processes, ensure scalability and reliability of our cloud-based systems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS Developer Tools (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy) for efficient software delivery.
- Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration management on AWS.
- Architect and deploy highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and other monitoring tools to ensure the performance and availability of our cloud services.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for AWS cloud environments.
- Lead efforts to enhance security, compliance, and governance in AWS cloud environments.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance and support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or infrastructure engineering role, with a focus on AWS cloud technologies.
- Strong proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and VPC.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration with AWS ECS or Kubernetes on AWS (EKS).
- Deep understanding of infrastructure automation, configuration management, and version control systems.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices for AWS cloud environments.
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
