My client is a leading Automotive company, based in Northern Italy. They specialise in delivering high-quality automotive components and solutions to their esteemed clients, contributing to the advancement of the automotive industry.
I am seeking an experienced Supply Chain and Operations Manager to oversee and optimise supply chain processes, ensuring efficiency and excellence in operations. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in the automotive sector, fluency in English, and a proven track record of success in process tools utilisation and inventory planning management. This role requires adeptness in working within a matrix organisational structure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for optimisation and cost reduction.
- Lead supplier relationship management activities to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and components.
- Oversee inventory planning and management to minimise stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Foster a culture of excellence and accountability within the supply chain and operations team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management within the automotive industry.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is essential.
- Proficiency in process tools utilisation and inventory planning management.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a matrix organisation.
- Proven leadership abilities with a track record of driving results and managing cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in Italian is a plus
