Would you be interested in joining the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) as an interim via Randstad Italia? We are looking for a Communication Officer to work in the COM unit.

responsabilità

• Provide communication advice and act as a focal point for matters in the relevant field;
• Deal with enquiries from the press, interview requests and press events in the assigned areas of responsibility;
• Ensure effective liaison with relevant colleagues across the organisation, supporting with the analysis of media coverage and defining actions to take;
• Manage the development of communication plans, having in mind a coordinated communication approach (i.e. between EU and national partners);
• Research, develop and write engaging content ensuring accuracy, consistency and coherence;
• Contribute as requested to communications projects (e.g. joint communication activities, podcasts).

competenze

• Excellent knowledge of English (at least C1 level);
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience in communication departments; 
• Experience in identify, collect and collate evidence; carry out data management activities; copywriting; manage media relations; provide administrative support; 
• Knowledge of media monitoring and listening tools would be considered an asset; 
• Behavioural competencies: ethics and integrity; working with others; dealing with ambiguity; planning work for results.

Assignment: initial contract of 2 or 3 months, with possibility of extension. Expected duration of assignment 12 months

Salary: approx. €3400 per month before taxes  

Work modalities: office work is required on at least 2 days per week. Remote work is possible within 2 hours from Parma for the remaining days
