Job Description:

1. The scope for position is migration from the Viptela devices to Cisco 8K devices.
2. In case 8K experience is not there then 9K would be ok as the interface is the same
3. The resources who have 3 years of Migration experience would be preferred. The migrations are happening in the daytime and the location would be Bangalore with no exceptions. Experience would be 6 to 8 years of experience.
4. NOC Monitoring resources is a No GO. Also the resources who are only pushing configurations are no go.
5. The blue badge layer is very low in this project and hence the communication skills would be a key (written and verbal). The process involved US clients.
6. Strong R&S requirement would be critical.
7. Multiproduct SDWAN would be an added success factor.
8. Certification is a desired area but not a showstopper.
9. There are lot of CVs for Merraki but the work here is more complex.

REQUIRED SKILLS (SDWAN)

Deep understanding on Routing/Switching and SDWAN technology involving design implementation and troubleshooting Experience.

Experience on Cisco products (Specifically CAT8K) and various LAN and WAN technologies.

Provide technical support for customers during software and hardware upgrades.

Provide Planning Designing Implementation Operation and Optimization assistance to Customers around Cisco s Enterprise technologies.

Participate in design/implementation and migration or problem resolution projects involving various enterprise technologies.

Selfmotivated and can work independently

Good communication skill Understands the value of teamwork and ability to capture customer requirements

DESIRED SKILLS (SDWAN)

Experience on Viptela 1001K2K5K platforms.

Cisco SDWAN Certification.

Understanding of basic network security concepts
