We are currently looking for a Development Quality Engineer in our location in Porcia for a permanent contract.

Position Overview

Hager is looking for a dedicated and experienced Development Quality Engineer in the field of low-voltage switchgear. This role is crucial to ensuring the highest quality standards in the development phase of projects and throughout the operational lifecycle of low-voltage systems, contributing to shaping our project business. Your missions

Your main mission will be to ensure that the quality objectives are met for your product family to contribute to customer satisfaction by providing safe, compliant and robust products, meeting the requirements of the standards, the regulations, but also our internal requirements.

In the project phase, the main objective of your missions is to guarantee the management of the quality in the new development projects :
•    Contribute to  defining the framework and procedural guidelines during the developmental phase of project business. Contribute actively to the establishment of comprehensive protocols, ensuring a systematic and efficient approach to project business
•    Contribute Engineering team to our customer's satisfaction by supporting the product and manufacturing process quality standard within new product and system development / evolution frame. 
•    Guarantee the application of the APQP and quality standards of Hager Group in the applicable product portfolio
•    Lead the maturity assessment audits of the deliverables of the various project milestones in collaboration with the project managers
•    Lead the risk analysis and monitor the action plans to reduce the risks
•    Contribute to define with the project team, the certification plans and the product and process qualification (internal and external) and analyses their results for the release of products and systems
•    Be responsible for implementation of our internal processes and standards, the evolution linked to the relevant procedures and manage within the product portfolio

In serial life phase, the main objective of your missions is to guarantee the quality of the products and systems on the markets, and to manage the improvement of their robustness :
•    Analyze the quality KPIs, anticipate the improvement action plans and monitor them
•    Manage the actions linked to quality issues requiring product analysis and expertise, risk assessments, and follow-up of action plans to return to standards.
•    Support Manufacturing for continuous improvement regarding the products and processes
•    Manage feedbacks through our internal standardization process.

Your profile

•    Bachelor's degree in Electro mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field.
•    Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
•    Experience with infrastructure panel building processes and deep understanding of the specific business area, especially in project business (Low Voltage switch gear assembly).
•    Familiarity with applicable standards (like IEC 61439 & IEC 62208).
•    Strong understanding of quality methodologies and tools (like APQP, FMEA, CP, FTA).
•    Experience with statistical analysis and process improvement techniques.
•    Familiarity with ISO9001 quality standards and other Auditor skills.
•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities (8D methodology).
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
•    Ability to manage multiple global projects and prioritize tasks.
•    Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
•    Fluent in Italian and proficient in English.
