For Neopharmed Gentili, a fast-growing pharmaceutical company with concrete internationalization projects we’re looking for a: Business Development Manager Job Profile Evaluate and manage new global/regional licensing and M&A opportunities in line with the strategic goals of Neopharmed Gentili contributing to increase its international presence. The successful candidate should have led the execution of transforming sizeable deals in his/her previous roles proving its competence in various deal structures such as M&A and Licensing with a focus on Europe. The candidate should be comfortable with hands-on activities and mentality, ready to integrate a fast growing medium-size company, comfortable with quantitative analyses, with excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to propose and execute actions. The candidate will report to the Global Head of Business Development – GHBD is part of the Leadership Team of the company. Activities and professional path Meet prospective partners (BD events, scouting, etc.) and engage them establishing professional relationships; Lead scientific, medical and economic cross-functional evaluations of opportunities, smoothly managing internal and external stakeholders; Promote, negotiate and execute M&A and licensing agreements to completion, working closely with Legal, finance, IP and other functions in the business relevant to the opportunity; Develop and maintain a solid network with all relevant stakeholders; Investigate in-licensing opportunities through market research and participating in BD-events. Assess new opportunities from a scientific and economic point of view in line with the strategy of the Company, considering cross-functional implications and having a general overview of the business; Prepare and analyse business cases for each new business opportunity, contribute to product forecasting and modelling, including competitive intelligence, pricing, risk and scenario planning with the relevant stakeholders. Requirements and skills Degree in Economics or Life Science; 10 years experience with at least 5 years in a BD role in the pharma industry; Knowledge and experience of all aspects of deal making process is mandatory; Good interpersonal skills and ability to work and coordinate inter-functional teams; Excellent knowledge of Office SW and Tools (Excel and PowerPoint are a must); Demonstrated skills in quantitative analysis; financial modelling experience is a plus; Confidence to interact with top management; Fluent in written and spoken English; fluency in Italian is a plus.
