We are hiring a new M&A Manager, reporting directly to the CEO Italy and working actively to pursue cross-functional and strategic projects.
The role provides a great opportunity to enter TKE as a project leader for organic and inorganic growth opportunities at a pivotal time in the company’s value creation journey. You should be strategically minded with a strong desire to be part of a growing team and organization. The M&A Manager will be a key member of the organization and will be involved in several initiatives and activities, including the following:
- Drive M&A activity through implementation of an acquisition pipeline for inorganic growth, as well as the post-merger integration of acquired entities
- Manage multiple simultaneous M&A processes from end to end - including scouting, valuation, due diligence, project management and negotiation of all transactions – coordinating and prioritizing tasks, managing timelines and maintaining plans and communication to Business Owners, Senior Management, C-Level and various stakeholders
- Analyze potential targets and deal structures, preparing strong business cases, in-depth company analysis and detailed financial models summarizing strategic positioning, competitive landscape and build-up opportunities in order to assess the potential value creation
- Coordinate post-merger integration of acquired entities, ensuring a coordinated approach across the whole business in particular with the Operations and Finance functions
- Support business intelligence and reporting activity, through KPIs analysis, monthly review, ad-hoc analysis, quality checks, deep dives and other inputs
- Proactively support and assist other M&A functions, Executive and C-Level, delivering financial analysis, business models intelligence, presentation and financial projections to support business decisions
- Min. 5 years of professional experience in consultancy, financial institutions, corporate strategy, business development or similar roles within large corporates
- BSc or MSc in Business, Finance or Economics
- Ability to identify and evaluate business opportunities demonstrating sound, independent business judgement
- Ability to assimilate large volumes of complex information quickly and accurately to provide insight
- Exceptional analytical ability, conceptual thinking skills and attention to details
- Highly credible, with ability to work collaboratively and quickly establish respect from peers and senior managers
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver high quality outputs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – strong ability to produce briefing notes, papers and structured presentations for C-suite
- Pro-active and hands-on way of working
- Availability for travel
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Another European language is an advantage
- Excellent computer skills – especially Excel and PowerPoint
