Job description

The IT Analyst for Insurance Retail Applications is responsible for providing exceptional services to Allianz business users. 
This includes managing end-to-end Insurance Retail Applications for both agencies and internal employees, ensuring high-performance and quality.
Additionally, the IT Analyst will oversee projects for new implementations within the assigned area, delivering innovative, efficient, and secure technology solutions. 
Collaboration with global and local offices of Allianz Technology will be essential to analyze needs, define solutions, and leverage the best available technologies

Key Responsibilities:

•    Manage demand and project portfolio processes by collaborating with the demand management team and business users to translate Business-IT requirements. Work with external providers and internal IT teams to analyze and estimate IT projects and oversee internal approval and cost processes.
•    Supervise and report on the status of project execution to ensure timely and successful completion.
•    Monitor the proper operation of Retail Applications and provide regular reports on their performance.
•    Oversee the activities of the Application Management team, which may be outsourced, to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and the timely resolution of tickets.
•    Support the resolution of infrastructure/security issues impacting Retail applications and systems.
•    Verify that technical solutions applied for project activities comply with Global Allianz Tech standards and security protocols.
•    Conduct regular meetings with business users, and technical teams to align on activities, address critical issues, and propose effective solutions.

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience:

•    Master's degree in computer science engineering or information technology would be a plus.
•    Proven experience (e.g.>3 years) in IT system and project management.
•    Proven experience in IT service and project management, ideally within insurance companies.
•    Strong expertise in IT systems analysis.
•    Familiarity with IT Retail Insurance systems would be an advantage.
•    Proficient in demand management and translating Business-IT requirements.
•    Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
•    Ability to work under pressure, manage issues efficiently, and meet tight deadlines.
•    Keen interest in new technologies.
•    Team-oriented with self-motivation and a proactive, results-driven work style. Able to thrive in a global work environment with individuals from diverse countries and cultures.
•    Fluency in Italian and English.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
