Description
The Quality Manager will lead the entire quality function and be a part of the business's management team. Using the management skills and experience to establish and maintain a Quality Culture, by assuring and controlling quality with systems, tools and teams to meet customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations.
Establishing and maintaining all necessary systems and internal controls required to deliver stable quality performance through the value chain, which cover from R&D Engineering to production assembly quality control and testing and drive sustainable improvements to meet customer and stakeholder ‘expectations.
Serves as a change agent within the leadership team as well as within the Global BU Quality Continuous Improvement function.
Continually challenges conventional thinking and drive accountability for business operational results including lead time, inventory, cost etc.
Ensures the Voice of the Customer is represented in business, by utilization of customer feedback processes, complaint resolution and result of customer feedback data analysis.
Promotes behavioural change to continuously improve performance through programs and initiatives.
Drive Quality Assurance and Control, ensuring compliance to corporate regulations and regulatory requirements.
Drive Top Quality issues and reports, analyses and acts on KPIs. Ensures conformance with applicable Hitachi Energy regulations, instructions related to quality, driving audit plan and program.
Deploy and execute the strategy to continuous improvement deployment with L6S and other Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Work in close proximity to SCM to ensure supplier quality to our products.
Lead the quality function within the GCoC, ensure appropriate staffing and competences, drive development of the team.

Your background
Bachelor or above in Electrical/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering etc.
More than five years related experience in quality management and system management.
At least three years team management experience.
Strong communication skill to different stakeholders (BU/Company/Customer).
Strong problem-solving skills, learning agility with 6S Black Belt or Green Belt certification.
Strong experience in quality management methods, quality improvement tools and measurements systems, including 8D, DFMEA and PFMEA
Strong Leadership capability to solve conflicts.
Ability to motive and develop people.
Result-orientated and experience of being a Change Agent challenging conventional thinking, approach and methodology and driving improvements.
Experience in design or manufacturing assembly of electromechanical components, electrical and electronic equipment.
Experience in product quality management in the energy or mobility industry preferred.
Ability to communicate fluently and effectively in both English and Italian.
