Position Summary

Reporting to the local LV Technical Center manager the candidate will be responsible to manage all Engineering Operations activities related to assembly and validation of automotive powertrains

Main Opportunities & Challenges 

Management and grow of an high tech testing lab coordinating prototiping activities on complex and sophisticated high performance products for premium OEMs.

Main Responsibilities

Engineering Operation Manager is responsible to lead and coordinate all the operations activities related to assembly and validation of transmissions and electrified powertrains for automotive applications
This includes management of all the activities related to: prototyping assembly scheduling, logistics and warehouse management, quality inspections, teardown and requalification.
Under EOM responsibility are also included all aspects related to facility and equipment maintenance and development, capex and opex management in accordance with Dana processes.
In coordination with the various chief and testing engineers he’s responsible to harmonize the prototype built plan and validation benches setup and scheduling across all projects.

Job Requirements

Education : University master degree - Mechatronics, Mechanics, Electronics, Aerospace

Professional Background :

Strong background coming from at least 10 years experience in management and coordination of operations activities in powertrain automotive sector

Hard Skills

Deep knowledgeMicrosoft Office suite, English (good level), knowledge of automotive processes (assembly, quality, logistics) and their structure and organization

Soft Skills

Strong leadership skills in a multicultural and multidisciplinar environment, results oriented and innovation mindset management and leadership skills, effective communication, teamwork, adaptability conflict resolution, flexibility, self-development, project management.
