Field Parts Specialist will be therefore accountable for SPIRs and Capital spare parts opportunities from selection to procurement, acting as a liaison between Flowserve’s Commercial and Operation organizations.
The role will work closely aligned with End-User Sales teams and resources at site to maintain consistent commercial strategy and will act independently to execute assigned tasks with the objective maximize the return of major parts opportunities, providing support to EU Sales team during negotiation, leveraging all of Flowserve’s products and services and insuring we are meeting the customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and ensure availability of SPIR/SPDP of assigned projects.
Work closely with Commercial Operation AM leader assigned to the specific site to make sure submitted SPIRs/SPDP are consistent with company commercial strategy and duly approved by all stakeholders.
Ensure availability of BOMs and relevant documents from OE scope of supply.
Identify inconsistencies/missing information and develop plan to get required details. Documentation will include (but will not be limited to): MDB, Contracts, submitted SPIRs, drawings, Data sheets, Test reports, as built BOMs, IOM, suppliers details and documentation).
Work with Sales to define parts selling strategy in assigned site.
Work with Sales to define parts to be purchased comparing recommended spares vs what already available/purchased.
Review customer spare parts inventory:
Work on parts interchangeability
Identify gaps in critical equipment & ensure correct components/quantities are stocked
Join meetings (preparation and status review) arranged by comm ops AM leader.

Requirements:
Commercial and/or Technical Bachelor’s degree preferred
Very good with English, Arabic language is a great plus
Highly preferred knowledge on Flowserve products and internal processes
Industry knowledge
Travel to site expected to be 50% of time
Customer-centric attitude
Solid technical background with main focus on parts business.
Ability to make things happen across different functions even without direct reporting
Ability to prioritize and proactively complete tasks across Organizations
International mindset
