Wood Specialist for data collection (f/m)

Job description
As a wood science specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team, playing an important role for several areas such as engineering or systems of classification/certification.
Your tasks
- Managing, monitoring, and evaluating assigned projects
- Using scanners for image sampling
- Possible direct liaison to customers to reach higher results
- Identification and classification of wood defects on images
- Carrying out diagnostic imaging and collaboration in the implementation of new technologies for diagnostic imaging
- Cooperation with several teams (research, development, operations) to create and improve recognition systems
Your profil
- Bachelor or Master degree in Forestry and Environmental Sciences or Wood Technology
- Knowledge of wood, such as wood defects
- Basic knowledge of the supply chain and/or wood processing
- Good knowledge of English, the knowledge of German is appreciated
- Independent and structured way of working, as well as special attention to customers' needs
- Team player with high problem-solving skills
- Availability to travel worldwide
- Driving license B
