R&D Lab Automation & Robotics Engineer
With a high degree of autonomy and in a team of Automation and Technical experts’ profiles, dedicated to the management of Automation and Robotics lab systems, the R&D lab Automation & Robotics Engineer:
Supports life Cycle of live systems by fixing, documenting and improving them;
Ensures the systems’ Life Cycle Management by continuously improving and documenting support;
Develops and implements flexible Automated and Robotics solutions, in the fields of Image Analysis, Liquid Handling, Labelling and 3D Printer, with respect to applicable standards (Regulations, QA, EHS, IT, etc.);
Realizes Technological watch in his domain of expertise.
In this role YOU will..
Support life Cycle of live systems by fixing, documenting and improving them, in collaboration with suppliers;
Support commissioning, configuration and integration activities required for the release of Automation&Robotics solutions in R&D Labs;
Ensure creation of configuration documents: User Requirement Specifications, Design Specifications, Post-Installation guides in collaboration with business and in compliance against Global IT policies, QA, Data integrity and EHS;
Ensure recurrent alignment with internal and external stakeholders (Business, QA, CSV, Procurement, Suppliers...);
Deliver KPI’s to follow project implementation and lifecycle;
Ensure programming and troubleshooting of Liquid Handler Equipment (such us Tecan and Hamilton) and Image Analysis systems;
Deliver 3D prototyping of laboratory accessories and tube labelling facility support
Why You?
Basic Qualifications:
University degree or equivalent by experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Automation;
Solid experience in support of IT or Automation projects
Strong understanding of automation and robotics technologies as well as strong understanding of computer programming and software development
Solid Knowledge and programming of Image Analysis technologies (Zeiss, etc)
Solid Knowledge of 3D-printer and tube labelling technologies
Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Liquid Handler programming (Tecan, Hamilton, etc).
Programming certification/degree would be a plus.
