YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quality Serial Performance management
Non Conformities Management:
- Responsible for Non-Conformity day-to day management, insuring reactivity to inform supplier of Non-Conformity Report, to replace defective parts and to implement securization.
- Animate Non-Conformities Report treatment by setting-up relevant actions plan to reach Non-Conformity Report target.
- Invoice the Cost Of Non-Quality to the suppliers.
- Ensure management of Supplier’s waiver requests for assigned scope and Suppliers
Containment actions:
- Organize the retrofit to be performed by the supplier.
- Decide quality wall if necessary.
Solving issues & Continuous Improvement:
- Secure in a timely manner strong and complete supplier containment actions plan to secure the Manufacturing line
- Challenge our suppliers to enforce relevant corrective and preventive action plan, challenge reactivity.
- Check the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive action plan of the Supplier, ask for evidences, challenge them and perform supplier’s visit. Ensure control plan sustainability (regular follow-up on main suppliers).
- Set up and manage Supplier improvement roadmap for non-performing Suppliers according to Supplier Quality escalation process
- Organize reviews with suppliers and visit suppliers’ premises as necessary.
Incoming inspection leader
Accountabilities & Authorities/ Manage day-to-day Incoming Inspection Activities:
- Collaborate with SPQD, SQ Serial Engineers and Incoming Inspectors to ensure Control Plans are defined and registered in the ERP system
- Ensure appropriate control keys (and rules associated) are implemented in the ERP system, with clear and documented sampling rules, dynamically defined and updated.
- Ensure inspection instructions/ checklists are defined and available for Incoming Inspectors
- Establish and manage the process for maintaining and storing records at Incoming Inspection
- Ensure Incoming Inspectors comply with procedures for inspection, tool calibration, storage of records, NCR characterization and ERP transactions.
- Ensure control plans are modified when NCRs are detected at incoming and on the production line
- Inform SQ Serial and Supply Chain on defects detected at Incoming (Non-conformities opened) and impact on part availability
- Schedule daily meetings to share daily priorities and manage daily workload of Incoming Inspectors
- Maintain and publish KPIs and identify opportunities for performance improvement
- Incoming Inspection team competencies management through skills matrix and scheduling trainings when required
LOCATION & MOBILITY : Site and availability to travel to suppliers’ site in Italy and abroad
Educational & Requirements:
- Technical high school degree or Bachelor’s or Master degree in Mechanical/Electric/Electronic/Automation Engineering or equivalent
- Familiar with supplier qualifications standards (ISO 9001:, IRIS, Local Standards as decree 4/2012 ANSF, COCS 30.6/DT Trenitalia, Trenitalia procedures TRNIT DT\P\2020\0012652 e TRNIT-DT\P\2021\002303, P096 rev.4 Trenord, etc.), and with qualification system of sub-suppliers working on safety systems on the train
- Fluent in English
Experience:
Minimum experience of 3 years in Suppliers Quality, with knowledge of quality and problem solving tools (8D, Quality Wall, Ishikawa, 5W2H, etc.).
Skills:
Leadership, strong and assertive communication skills, proactivity, willigness to learn, able to easily share knowledge with cross organizational teams.
