Job description
As the marketing manager for the Italian market, you will spearhead, cultivate, and oversee a dynamic team of individuals with diverse backgrounds, ensuring the formulation and execution of national marketing plans that support business growth. Your key responsibilities encompass driving product launches and ensuring the continual enhancement of product knowledge within the sales segment of the organisation. Furthermore, your role extends to elevating the entire team, including the improvement of systems and processes, to support Medline’s strategic objectives.
How can you help us?
- Conduct comprehensive business analysis and market research in the Italian market.
- Formulate and execute a localised marketing plan and campaign tailored for the Italian market.
- Establish a strategic pricing policy for each product line.
- Assume accountability for successful new product launches, including managing demonstrations and trials.
- Identify and implement enhancements to Medline products based on market feedback.
- Develop impactful sales support tools and coordinate communication with the international marketing and communication team, overseeing the management of congresses.
- Gather information on competitors, including their product portfolios and market shares.
- Coordinate weekly training and development calls with the team to ensure ongoing skill enhancement.
- Take charge of organising and managing sales events, including sales meetings and local workshops.
- Prepare detailed reports for management.
Are you our match?
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
- Proven experience in marketing and product management within the healthcare industry is essential
- Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office suite applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with expertise in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Italian and English
Able to dedicate atleast 30 to 40 percent of your time to field activities.
