Title : Sr/Lead Java Developer
Location : Remote

Job Duties :
- Design Architect and implement distributed and highly concurrent Java based enterprise services.
- Develop software with Java Distributed caching and SQL/NoSQL Databases.
- Design implement and maintain highly scalable multitier distributed server software applications. Take responsibility of performance and stability for all server functions.
- Constantly help the team improve quality and production. Setting up fully automated test suite (Unit regression and integration).
- Collaborate with product managers and expert business analysts. Understand business specifications to implement well designed solutions from defined requirements.
- Provide input to requirements regarding development limitations. Apply knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients.
- Evaluate complex business requirements and processes.
- Provide production support for several mission critical systems.
- Conduct analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 8 years in the job offered or related occupation.
Must have 10 years of experience in the following:
- Experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle including development code review peer testing unit testing and requirements testing.
- Developing software for serverside systems including Java Web APIs Distributed Caching Messaging and full text search technologies e.g. ActiveMQ/ SQS Hazelcast Elastic search.
- Expertise in SQL / No SQL Databases including database design and performance optimization techniques.
- Object Oriented Analysis design concepts and design patterns.
- Experience in developing end to end Cloud based services using AWS.
- Experience in working with Agile teams and setup (scrum)
- Reviewing debugging and diagnosing existing application codebase across all application tiers.
- Financial domain knowledge of Bonds & Assetbacked securities
- Fixed Income Indices knowledge is good to have.
