Job description
As Software Engineer AI you will become an expert of our scanning optimization solutions, having the possibility to keep up-to-date with the latest computer vision and deep learning developments. You will implement, validate and optimize our software in relation to industry needs and further investigate the state-of-the-art, contributing to the success of our innovating company.
Your tasks
- Collaboration in the design and development of image processing and computer vision algorithms
- Integration of artificial intelligence solutions into industrial measurement systems and processes
- Customization of machine learning solutions meeting customer needs and training of new models, increasing the performance of our scanning optimization solutions
- Maintenance and improvement of our sophisticated 2D and 3D image processing solutions, with a continuous alignment to the latest computer vision and machine learning developments
- Investigation and research to solve new products related issues (i.e segmentation, object recognition and classification)
- Contribution in the creation, testing, commissioning and documentation of prototypes and products
- Involvement in data science activities, with the analysis of collected data and decisions related to future data collection
Your profile
- Master Degree in Information Engineering, Computer Science or similar
- Good understanding of Pyhton and C++
- Experience with training frameworks such as PyTorch/Tensorflow, experienche with inference library TensoRT is an advantage
- Familiarity with the development environment PyCharm
- The familiarity with the development environment Microsoft Visual Studio is an advantage
- Good knowledge of computer vision and image processing
- Good knowledge of English and Italian, knowledge of German is appreciated
- Structured and autonomous way of working with a product application-oriented approach
- Availability to travel worldwide
- High problem-solving skills and willingness to join a high level team-work environment
- Strong relational and communication skills
- Driving license B
