The opportunity:
You will be part of the international Finance team, working closely with your international colleagues in the Netherlands, UK, Denmark, Germany & France, and reporting directly to the Regional Manager Finance based in Italy.
The role includes reporting, tax and internal control activities in a very dynamic, international and professional environment!
Key Responsibilities
- Process AP invoices and bank statements in Oracle - our automated ERP system.
- Participate in the monthly closing activities and prepare Balance Sheet, P&L and sub-ledger reconciliations for your respective countries.
- Responsible for assigned annual account activities, including the support to the external auditors, resulting in the annual report document.
- Perform internal control activities and advise on opportunities for improvement.
- Responsible for the tax and other tax compliance activities in collaboration with our external consultants (i.e. VAT, Intrastat, CIT).
- Support the Sr. Financial Accountant in Budget and Forecast activities and ad hoc business analysis.
- Achieve personal and team goals, formulated at the beginning of the fiscal year.
We perfectly match if you:
- have +3 years of experience in an international accounting department.
- have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, but if you think that you have what it takes to get the job done, please don't hesitate to apply.

- enjoy being hands-on and improving processes.
- enjoy manipulating numbers and systems & work accurately.

- live within max 50km of our office in Venice.
- have a good command of Italian and English.
- are proficient in MS Office.
- are used to work with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion Cloud would be a plus).
- are well organized, multitasker and a self-starter with a ''can do'' attitude.
