Job Title: VTEX Developer

Work Location: 100% Remote

Need GC and US Citizens

Day to Day:

They use an agency in Brazil for VTEX development so this person would be working with them instead of Ajay taking it off his plate

There will 1.5 months of transitioning from Ajay to this new person and then go live for VTEX is in April

Creating a new experience for customers to feel confident and purchase contact / glasses online

Hands on technical work with engineers

Manage the new web ecomm application building eCommerce site on VTEX (coca cola and SBD use VTEX as well!) good for large volume of users

o EXAMPLE: web ecomm products. for a product they first go live they are doing the contact lens (sell them sell accessories eyeglasses) through this platform

Must Haves:

5 years as an App Developer

Strong VTEX Development experience (12 years)

5 years of ecommerce experience

High volume Ecommerce site guru (with ecomm flow experience including website shopping carts integrations etc)

Product or project management experience

Bachelors Degree

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Product Manager to join our team. If you have a passion

for crafting exceptional online shopping experiences and possess a strong background in

VTEX development we want to hear from you. As an IT Product Manager Ecommerce and

Digital Engineering at MyEyeDr. you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our

ECommerce application built on the VTEX platform and other Digital Applications. You will

play a pivotal role in enhancing the performance functionality and user experience of our

highvolume ECommerce website. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of

experience in ECommerce application development and be proficient in both frontend and

backend VTEX development.

Duties:

VTEX Development: Design develop and maintain ECommerce solutions using the VTEX platform ensuring optimal performance and user experience.

Full Stack Development: Work on both frontend and backend development tasks including UI/UX enhancements serverside logic and database operations.

MS SQL: Utilize MS SQL for database operations including data modeling optimization and maintenance.

GraphQL API and Webhooks: Leverage GraphQL APIs and Webhooks for seamless integration with thirdparty services and data sources.

Agile Development: Collaborate within an Agile development environment utilizing Jira and Confluence to manage tasks track progress and facilitate communication with crossfunctional teams.

CI/CD: Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

practices to ensure efficient and reliable deployment processes.

Vision Care Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with the Vision Care industry including selling eyeglasses contact lenses and eye care products is a significant plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of handson experience in highvolume ECommerce application development and IT Product Management.

Proficiency in VTEX and React development with a strong understanding of both frontend and backend aspects.

Knowledge of MS SQL for database operations and optimization.

Experience with Azure Devops Azure Functions GraphQL APIs and Webhooks is a

plus.

Vision Care domain knowledge and experience in selling eye care products via a highvolume website are highly desirable.

Experience working in an Agile development environment utilizing tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage tasks track progress and facilitate collaboration within crossfunctional teams.

Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices including version control systems (e.g. Github bitbucket) automated testing and deployment pipelines to ensure the reliability and efficiency of test cases.

Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Education:

Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology (or equivalent experience).

Technical certification in VTEX required.

Scrum or Agile Certification is plus.
