Job description
Position Title: Sr SQL Developer
Location: Remote
Expected Duration: 12 months contract renewable

Requirements :
- 4 to 5 years of experience using Microsoft SQL Server BI Suite and SSIS/SSRS
- 4 to 5 years of experience with MSSQL scripting (required)
- 4 years SQL Server version 2014 or higher (required)
- Experience in a Healthcare IT working with claims member and provider data strongly desired.
- Analytical skills in a SQL environment
- Experience with QNXT or FACETS Healthcare Payer Platforms preferred
- Previous team leadership with analyzing mentoring monitoring healthcare plan data focusing on medical claim and financial processing member eligibility processing provider networks and MCO contract details auditing and reporting in compliance with Federal and State requirements
- Knowledge of Payment Reform methodologies under the Affordable Care Act and related initiatives in the Medicaid space
- Ability to build complex queries and reports using Microsoft SQL.
- Analytical and data analysis skills using Microsoft SQL (required)
- Healthcare knowledge within a claims processing environment preferably in Medicaid
- Ability to maintain attendance to support required quality and quantity of work
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
Job Description:
- Facilitates and/or participates in JAD (Joint Application Design) RAD (Rapid Application Development) and DSD (Design Specifications Document) sessions to define and understand the business requirements and present detailed systems design documentation for reports data interface files data conversion and any other method of data exchange.
- Ability to Develop test manage and implement SSIS Packages from development server to production server using package configuration.
- Work on maintenance and Administration of SSIS by creating Jobs Alerts SQL Mail Agent and schedule DTS/SSIS Packages.
- Should be able to Design and guide other developers on complicated interfaces and should have strong debugging skills
- Ability to create design documents and understand business functionality
- Ability to automate the execution of SSIS packages using SQL Server Agent Jobs.
- Formulate and document ETL process design based on business requirements and system specification including source to target mapping and transformations.
- Implement Database administration tasks like Scheduling and monitoring the ETL Jobs Collated customer requirements coordinated with different stakeholders.
- Work with customers Business SMEs and application development teams to understand requirements
- Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts
- Experience diagnosing and resolving in incident tickets and errors
- Developed ETL specifications data mapping and other documentation required for ETL development.
- Uses SQL data models data element dictionary and schema to perform data and business analysis
- This individual is responsible for understanding business data and performing quality assurance testing to ensure the data presented is correct.
- Create documentation and best practices
- Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers clients members providers and customers
- Supports Unit Testing System Integration Testing System Testing and User Acceptance Testing
- At least 23 years of experience using Microsoft SQL Server Database SSIS is required
