Job description
Qascom is looking for a Digital Hardware Engineer within the Aerospace & Defense domain. The resource will be based in our office in Bassano del Grappa. The candidate will be involved in the development of innovative hardware solutions for GNSS receivers and simulators and for testbed of Aerospace and Defense products. Responsibilities: Hardware Design Feasibility analysis and Architectural definition. Definition of Technical specifications; Definition of Technical specifications; Schematic Design and support to PCB Design; Hardware Test benches design, debug and verification activities; Maintain and update the hardware documentation and configuration; Support the certification activities (safety, EMC/EMI, environmental, …); Support to Technical management of software projects, involving interactions with customers (major aerospace industries and space agencies). Requirements: Master’s degree in electronics engineering or equivalent; 3y+ years of experience as Digital Hardware Designer of complex digital boards (e.g., boards with SoC, FPGA, uP, DSP, …); Experience in all stages of development: system analysis, implementation, development of testing environments, design verification and HW-SW-FW system integration; Knowledge of state-of-the-art electronic schematic design tools (e.g. Altium); Competence in the use of laboratory equipment during debug and troubleshooting activities; Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
