Job Summary

Our client, one of the largest professional services firms in the world, is seeking a seasoned Cloud Platform Quality Engineer to join their initiative focused on designing and developing a global platform. This platform aims to streamline their Development and Operation functions by leveraging Infrastructure as Code. The roadmap includes automating infrastructure workflows using Terraform and adopting an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) model with a multi cloud approach. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting edge technology for a global services company and gain experience in multi cloud IaaS platforms.

Job Responsibilities

• Applying, designing, and developing automated testing strategies and frameworks.
• Focusing on automated testing to accelerate test efforts while also performing some manual testing.
• Collaborating closely with workstream Tech Leads and subject matter experts to identify and thoroughly test integrations.
• Estimating tests accurately and coordinating with team members to gauge work activities effectively.

Basic Qualifications

• Proficiency in API Testing / API Automation .
• Knowledge of Java + Selenium for automation testing .
• Familiarity with Dev Test tools .
• Understanding of user stories, acceptance criteria, and Agile testing practices .
• Functional Testing Experience: The candidate should have experience in functional testing, demonstrating knowledge of various techniques and methodologies to ensure the developed cloud platform meets required functionality and business objectives.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with Postman for API testing.
• Knowledge of Cucumber for behavior driven development.
• Experience with Rest Assured framework for RESTful API testing.
