Job description
Senior Software Engineer, Web (South America) Location: REMOTE - Argentina Duration: LongTerm Responsibilities Include: • Implement designs to create re-usable componentized websites using React • Break down visual designs into tasks and then working on tasks to create delightful user experiences
• Make and handle requests to API's both on a Node service as well as via web client • Make trade-offs of server vs client for transforming and orchestrating data calls
• Identify and raise blockers when known, seek out assistance when needed
• Communicate effectively and proactively with stakeholders about sprint deliverables and work
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code without forsaking design quality
• Attending daily standup and other meetings as needed
• Other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications: • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter who is capable of pushing projects to completion
• Expertise with building websites utilizing SSR with react
• Able to analyze and debug problems
• 5+ years of industry experience designing, building, and maintaining websites
• 3+ years of industry experience with react
• Experience with Node • Understanding of React life cycle • Expertise at ensuring your code is verifiable including designing and writing unit and integration tests
Preferred Qualifications: • Node service layer such as Remix.run or Next.js experience • Experience with React Testing Library
• Mantine, MaterialUl, or other component library experience
• Familiarity with React, including hooks, providers, and context
• Familiarity with Rest and Graphql
• Familiarity with building websites deployed on Vercel
• Familiarity with Google Analytics
• Familiarity with load testing
• Familiarity with analyzing trade-offs of different implementations
• Familiarity with ADA.
