Job description
A rapidly-growing pharmaceutical company that is revolutionizing the healthcare business by making healthcare more accessible to patients is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of documenting procedures and concentrating on continuous improvement and performance metrics. The company is developing innovative solutions to satisfy evolving healthcare demands and addressing issues such as data analytics, commercial services, and patient and payor services. Job Responsibilities:
- Build and deploy CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with application developers
- All development/production environments must be kept up-to-date and available
- Creating and deploying cloud services with the infrastructure-as-code paradigm
- Document procedures, prioritize continuous improvement, and keep track of performance measures
- Ensure that best practices are followed while configuring pipelines and deployments
- Troubleshoot and address issues that have been reported during and after deployments
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3 years of experience in building and maintaining DevOps environments
- Knowledge of maintaining deployments with Kubernetes and understanding strategies like blue-green, canary, and multi-service using K8s/AKS/EKS
- Experience working with YAML and other scripting languages, including Bash, Powershell, and Python
- Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics
- Comfortable in the cloud using Microsoft Azure and AWS/GCP, and champion using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform/Pulumi
- Experience working with Linux systems
- Knowledge of telemetry systems - Prometheus, ELK, and Grafana
- Knowledge of log management tools such as LogStash / Rsyslog
- Being a Certified Kubernetes Administrator is a plus
- DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer is nice to have
- Any cloud Architect certifications will be nice to have
- Proficiency in English
