Associate Infrastructure Engineer (IT) page is loaded Associate Infrastructure Engineer (IT) Apply locations AR - Buenos Aires time type Full time posted on Posted 5 Days Ago job requisition id R89829 Execute the IT implementation and technology integration development from the Network and Communication perspective based on APMT policies, standards, and guidelines, as well as comply to APMT4 terminal specific processes and interfaces/applications.
Provide support and guidance to APMT users located in Buenos Aires supporting, and managing users' incidents and concerns. Support and maintain any single environmental detail that could affect IT Services uptime and operability i.e. A/C, Electricity and Security.
Manage appropriately IT inventory including desktops, laptops, phones, mobiles, printers and any other APMT asset related to the IT Services Provided.
Provide appropriate support and maintenance to IT services & projects within the Network and Communication area ensuring to warranty the service levels committed to business services to warranty the correct functioning of every other IT Service being provided today and on the short term.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Ensure network & communication infrastructure supports the implementation and deployment of each APMT Terminals global application and maintain optimum level of performance.Configure, install, and maintain local area network hardware, software, and telecommunications services such as: switches, routers, access points and controller, printers, business software applications, Internet services and structured cabling.Proactive management in the maintenance, support and execute the day-to-day administration and operations for network and communication.Keeps the IT infrastructure and system configuration and specification for deployment/commissioning of container terminal specific equipment's with the team (Yard Cranes, Gates, Scanners, etc).Actively supports Global and Regional IT to the implementation of projects/tasks within the defined scope, time, and budget within the framework of IT APMT Moin policy based on the initiatives from management team and ensure that the infrastructure is always ready for future.Develop technical materials and procedures, and/or provide training and guidance to end users in the proper use of hardware and software, including software packages.Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service, including printers.Prepare evaluations of software or hardware and recommend improvements or upgrades.Coordinate with IT related vendors the necessary maintenance of software and hardware components and the possible resolution of IT Incidents.Maintain an update IT inventory.Track and monitor IT and OT Services. (i.e., virtual servers, TOS services.)Critical Qualifications/Skills/Experience Bachelor on Computer Science, Telematics, or similar IT.English Proficient.Requires at least 2 years of computer network administration or IT communications experience, in a medium to large organization. (CCNA Certification is a plus).Proactive, Methodical, Patient, Perseverant.Able to work under pressure.2 years demonstrated experience in IT Support and Systems Administration.Knowledge of TCP/IP stacks and their functionality.ITIL Foundation knowledge (Certification is a plus).Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting of Windows 10/11.Basic knowledge and troubleshooting of Windows Server 2012 R2/2016/2019.Effectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels of the organization.Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information.Incident Resolution (Realistic Operational Level to be defined by IT Manager).Audit (IT or IT related to financial processes or to Operational Compliance) related procedures and documentation.End User Technical Education about APMT IT related platforms (initial end user education package and forthcoming technological platform requirements).Availability to support High Priority Incidents out of business hours according to the business demands and the criticality established by business stakeholders.#LI-JS2
