Level Description 'Support' Leveling Guide consists of jobs that provide administrative and customer service support.
Work is typically guided by precedent and performed using established procedures and techniques. Market Summary Responsible for greeting patients, verifying insurance coverage and eligibility, reviewing new patient registration, and entering new patient information into the computer system at an outpatient care site. Impact • Provides organizational support or service in routine situations and daily operations under moderate supervision. • Gives regular input in support of decision-making. Communication • Interacts with internal stakeholders within own team and may also interact with external stakeholders including clients, customers, carriers or agents. • Adapts and exchanges information in accordance with standard guidelines and procedures with internal and external parties who typically have shared interests. Innovation • Problems and issues faced are non-routine. • Tasks are moderately difficult and typically impact own and one or more other departments or specialties. Knowledge • Advanced knowledge of the job, typically obtained from a combination of vocational training and/or applied experience. • Typically requires a high school diploma and 4-6 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
