SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH ANALYSTConcurrent Technologies CorporationWashington, DC (Hybrid)Minimum Clearance Required : SecretClearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain : SecretKey Responsibilities :- Supports the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Personnel and Readiness, Force Safety and Occupational Health- Contributes to analysis of occupational / environmental health and safety policy and performance- Responses to congressional and media inquiries, preparation of congressional testimony, responses to DoD Inspector General and Government Accountability Office findings in areas of occupational health, environmental health, radiation safety, laser system safety, hearing conservation, hazard communication,occupational safety- Drafts content for DoD issuances (e.g., Directives, Instructions, Manuals, Memoranda) with technical input in areas of occupational health, environmental health, radiation safety, laser system safety, hearing conservation, hazard communication, occupational safety- Provides input and edits to concepts to improve occupational / environmental health and safety capabilities- Provides technical analysis of Safety and Occupational / Environmental Health risks, risk management options, and the appropriate DoD policy for DoD Safety and Occupational / Environmental Health risk management activities.- Provides DoD technical input to policy.Basic Qualifications :- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in occupational health, environmental health, public health, industrial hygiene, environmental engineering, or related field- Minimum five years' experience in bioenvironmental engineering, environmental science and engineering, occupational and environmental health, or industrial hygiene- Experiences working with Federal regulatory agencies (e.g., EPA, OSHA, FDA)and familiarity with Federal regulations that pertain to occupational safety and health- Experiences working with and developing occupational health, environmental health, industrial hygiene policies and procedures- Experiences participating in technical meetings and gatherings with Federal agency partners, Federal regulatory agencies, technical subject matter experts in occupational health, environmental health, radiation safety, laser system safety, hearing conservation, hazard communication, occupational safetyPreferred Qualifications :- Master's degree preferred- DOD leadership experience- AIHA Certified Industrial Hygienist or BCSP Certified Safety Professional- Working understanding of Office of Secretary of Defense rolesWhy CTC?- Our teams at CTC are passionate and thrive on collaboration in a team environment- When we encounter a difficult problem, we have a variety of talented and diverse employees that work together to solve the toughest challenges- Competitive salary and benefits package- Although our work at CTC is extremely important, we also recognize the need for our employees to maintain a proper mix of work and personal life- Visit to learn moreJoin us!
