To guide and support CMHHIP’s efforts to meet or exceed customer expectations by maintaining excellence in patient safety and care, and to identify opportunities for improvement through data collection, analysis, interpretation and dissemination of data-based information that enables hospital leadership to utilize resources in an effective and efficient manner and to operate efficiently under legislative and regulatory mandates and clinical and administrative policies and guidelines.

As a part of the CMHHIP Quality Department team, the project coordinator participates in the development of clinical and technological project planning and implementation activities. The position then implements activities for the overall coordination of all assigned projects, and determines processes to best facilitate the completion of the project from inception to closure utilizing established methodologies, and within available resources. The project coordinator analyzes the effectiveness of the determined processes, and recommends new and innovative processes and methodologies, in order to optimize efficiencies.

The project coordinator ensures that projects are executed and managed, and provides regular reports to the project manager on project(s) status, to include recommendations for change to processes or timelines to meet completion expectations.
In addition, this position actively participates in the CMHHIP Quality Department’s change management efforts to improve patient care and satisfaction through assigned projects and quality initiatives.

This position may be delegated tasks such as the administration of, updates to, and maintenance of, the CMHHIP Resource website and the internal Quality Department site to assure positive, ongoing user experience.

Sign-On Incentive:

Upon approval, a sign-on incentive based on position, ranging from $2,000 to $7,000 (prorated if a part-time position), will be given in three payments: within two pay cycles of when the new employee starts at CDHS, 180-day anniversary and 270-day anniversary with CDHS. These incentives will be available to the first 1,000 new employees in select high-need positions.
