Our Award Winning Client, a nationally recognized healthcare organization, is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the role of Accounts Receivables Manager in the Patient Financial Services department.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and manage all aspects of Accounts Receivables management for the Patient Financial Services department.
- Ensure standards of unit operations comply with state and federal healthcare regulatory agencies.
- Participate in organizational performance improvement projects.
- Analyze denial trends and publish organizational reports to improve first pass yield.
- Oversee training, unit performance, and resolution of operational and personnel issues.
- Serve as a role model and resource to colleagues, staff, and others.
- Interact with all levels within the organization, including senior leaders, managers, directors, insurance companies, third-party payers, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
Required Qualifications:
- Motivate staff to achieve desired results.
- Understand Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience working with contracts and applying terms and conditions to claims.
- Knowledge of billing commercial claims, workers compensation, managed care, and other third-party payers.
- Thorough understanding of healthcare billing, finance, compliance, and facility billing systems.
- Self-directed and organized with superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Five (5) years' experience in revenue-based healthcare-related industries.
- Five (5) years' experience in management of Patient Financial Services.
- Experience in PFS Operations in an Academic Medical Center organization or complex teaching environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Health Care Management, Business, Finance, or Accounting.
- Experience in PFS Operations, University, and medical center organizations.
- Prior management experience of union-represented staff.
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
