Lotus is looking for a dedicated education coordinator to help adolescents ages 12 - 17 to stay on course with their education. The education coordinator is responsible for coordinating all educational aspects with the client, parents, and school to ensure the client keeps up with school academics virtually. To succeed in this position, one must have a passion for wanting to help adolescents who are recovering from substance use.
Requirements
- Monitoring student progress.
- Communicate the clients progress between the school, parents, and student.
- Plan and facilitate school time for the client.
- Evaluate and assess student progress against instructional objectives.
- Effectively communicate feedback concerning the expectation of achievement and goals to the client.
- Communicate with school personnel regarding clients schoolwork and homework.
- Complete attendance records, portfolio of work samples, and assignment and work reports for each student.
- Must have excellent reading and writing skills.
- Understand the fundamentals of Math and Science.
- Have excellent people skills.
Education:
Experience:
- At least 1 year working as an education coordinator
- Experience with mental health adolescents (preferred)
Benefit
Range $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
