Job description
We are looking for an independent Estate Planning lawyer to join our small firm (for full-time or flexible part-time positions). At LifePlan Legal, AZ, we focus primarily on Estate Planning (85%) with some uncontested probate and guardianship (15%). We are not a litigation law firm and do not engage in contested matters. We pride ourselves on happy clients who want to come back annually and refer their friends. In this position, you will work directly with the clients to design their estate documents, answer their questions, help them understand their plan, and finally sign/execute the plan. If you are an excellent attorney who thrives in positions of autonomy, is positive and happy, and loves to meet and work with new people, we want to hear from you!
We have openings for part-time or full-time!
Responsibilities:
- Many clients are apprehensive about working with an attorney, we strive to make the experience truly enjoyable for them and their families
- Educate clients to understand their options and their best options
- Review and update previous estate plans
- Help families navigate the process after the passing of a loved one
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in Arizona
- Experience with Estate Planning, WealthCounsel, AvidLaw, and the Arizona Probate system a PLUS
- Autonomous and independent, enjoys working with little direction
- Dependability- more than spontaneity
