Kelly Engineering has a GREAT opportunity for a Project Manager located in Farmington Hills, MI!
Direct Hire!
Does require travel for approximately 2-3 weeks at a time a couple times of year.
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing programs and the progress ensuring the customer requirements are successfully fulfilled.
Primary Responsibilities
Project Manager will perform a wide range of duties including but not limited to the following:
Manage all aspects of the program, including phase reviews, design, and development
Create detailed project schedules
Prepare project documentation required by the customer
Maintain records of communication with customers, vendors, and internal communications
Create detailed project budgets and track spending
Report on project cost and forecast
Follow up on project milestones and action items to ensure on time completion
Understand the customers needs and what problem each project solves for the customer.
Understand the scope of work and customers requirements for each project.
Generate change orders for any customer requests that are out of scope.
Work with Sales to provide pricing to the customer.
Perform and assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Highly organized and able to prioritize
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Thrive in fast paced environments
Team player and works well with others
Ability to speak in front of groups and perform presentations
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Projects and Excel
Must wear proper Personal Protective Equipment PPE when required
Valid driver s license and have or be able to acquire a valid passport

Work Conditions
This job operates in both an office and plant environments.
This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines, hand tools, and other machines.
The manufacturing plants are industrial environments that require the use of certain personal protective equipment and a familiarity with several safety practices.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and lift components up to 50 lbs.
Travel Overnight and abroad travel is occasionally required
