About the Division of the VP and CHRO and Department of Inclusion and Belonging
The VP & CHRO communication team provides division-wide support for communications in the areas of employer branding, employee storytelling, website management, email management, video, asset design, people leader communications, social media management, and communications accessibility.
This team is part of a matrixed communications function at Cornell and relies on a strong partnership with the University Relations' departments of News (Cornell Chronicle), Brand (cornell.edu, multimedia production, brand management and governance), and Strategic Communications (communications plans, key messaging, social media management).
The Department of Inclusion and Belonging (DIB) within the Division of the VP and CHRO promotes a working environment that encourages full participation of all members of the Cornell staff community. The department offers programs and learning opportunities through the Inclusive Excellence Network, which consists of an annual conference, ongoing workshops and seminars, and a monthly podcast.
