System Project Analyst

Working Title: Compliance Manager

This position is located at the DCF Headquarters in Tallahassee in the Office of Information Technology Services.

 

 

General Summary

The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) is seeking a qualified candidate for a Systems Project Analyst (position #60020279) within the Office of Information Technology Services (OITS). This position performs as the Compliance Manager for the ACCESS System and actively engages in system privacy and security compliance efforts. This includes participating in planning, project management, analysis, and state and federal IT related audit and research activities.

This position is full-time on-site at DCF Headquarters in Tallahassee, FL.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for federal Minimum Acceptable Risk Standards for Exchanges (MARS-E) pre-audit, on-site compliance assessments, and post-audit activities.
  2. Researches, analyzes, and attains supporting documentation for continued operations.
  3. Maintains system privacy and security documentation.
  4. Interfaces with internal and external stakeholders for documentation, audit responses, and correction action plans (CAPs) and plan of actions and milestones (POA&M) submissions.
  5. Monitors compliance activities, prepares required documentation, and responds accordingly.
  6. Provides support during internal and external audits as requested.
  7. Assists with procurement and grant development activities as assigned.
  8. Assists with planning initiatives related to system work prioritization and funding requests for state and federal compliance.
  9. Works with state, federal, and private agencies as necessary/assigned to carry out responsibilities.
  10. Perform other duties as required.

BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT : It is the policy of the Florida Department of Children and Families that any applicant being considered for employment must successfully complete a State and National criminal history check as a condition of employment before beginning employment, and be screened in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 435, F.S., and, if applicable, Chapter 408, F.S. Background investigations shall include, but not be limited to, fingerprinting for State and Federal criminal records checks through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and may include local criminal history checks through local law enforcement agencies.
