Job description
What will you do?
Azure Summit Technology is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will support the design, development, modification, and evaluation of signals intelligence, radar, and communications prototype development systems and related software systems in a cloud environment. The candidate will be instrumental in the engineering and advanced research and development associated with designing of products during pre-delivery design, integration, and acceptance. Duties will include efforts related to cloud DevOps configuration, automation, and deployment. The selected candidate will assist in the planning and executing of projects or phases of projects to include customer interface, requirements development, design reviews, and technical interchanges, and all aspects of design, development, demonstration, and evaluation.
Basic Requirements:
- US citizenship – due to the nature of the work and contract requirement
- Ability to obtain a SECRET or TOP SECRET security clearance – due to contract requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Math, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience developing on-premise or cloud infrastructure to support team or customer initiatives and developing and deploying processes using CI/CD tools
- This job is primarily located in Fairfax, Virginia. We work from home when we can and work in the office when it makes sense to do so. This job could require occasional travel to Melbourne, Florida, and other customer locations as needed
