Job description
Serra Ford Farmington Hills is looking for Sales Assistants who want to learn the automotive field and move into a Sales Consultant position. You will learn the field from the best of the best Sales Consultants in the area with an average time on the job of 15 years. This is a great opportunity in a high volume store that is in a convenient location, and ONE OF THE FASTEST growing STORES in the Detroit Metro Area.

Responsibilities
- Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc.
- According to pre-determined work plan, on a daily basis, makes follow-up calls to customers to encourage repeat & referral business.
- Establishes, implements, and maintains personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity.
- Assist sales staff and management with customer overflow – demo vehicles with customers and explain features
- Assist customers with insurance requirements
Qualifications
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information, both written and oral.
- Valid driver’s license with no major violations within the past 3 years
- Excellent Customer service skills
- Must be computer literate and have familiarity with e-mail, Facebook & other social media platforms
- Prior customer service Experience or Sales/Retail Experience required
