Currently, we are seeking a Software Project Engineer to become a part of the HIROTEC team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The position will be responsible for performing Support Desk duties by providing effective and high quality support across all software systems and playing a key role within the in-house software development team.

Highlights of the position include providing support (troubleshooting, analysis, repair, reporting) for in-house, custom developed VB .NET applications, supporting the integration of .NET application with MS SQL server, performing problem analysis and developing countermeasures, application design and development, and maintaining appropriate technical and procedural documentation.

The position requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Programming, Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and/or 1-2 years’ experience in designing and developing VB .NET & C# applications and services.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of .NET framework and the CLR, and a proficient understanding of Microsoft SQL Server database management systems. Expertise designing reports using Crystal Reports XI (or higher) and developing Visual Basic , C#, ASP .NET and JavaScript Desktop & web applications. Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
