About the Role:

As a Senior Tax Strategist, you'll play a crucial role in our team. We're looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience. While a CPA or CPA candidate is preferred, it's not mandatory. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around providing tax advisory services, planning, and preparation for a diverse range of clients, including individuals, businesses, and high net worth individuals, with a preference for those with real estate tax and accounting experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Engage in client projects, offering corporate, partnership, and individual tax services.
- Devise, plan, and execute tax strategies and conduct research on potential tax issues.
- Prepare and/or review tax returns for corporate, partnership, estates, trusts, or individuals, including federal, foreign, state, and local tax returns, estimated payments, and extensions.

Essential Functions:

- Preparation and review of tax returns for entities and individuals.
- Tax planning for closely held businesses and their owners.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct tax research and address tax notices from IRS or other tax authorities.

Job Qualifications:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Punctual and detail-oriented.
- Ability to multitask with ease and professionalism.
- Proficiency with office equipment and various computer programs.
- Strong interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with staff members, clients, and vendors.

Education/Experience:

- 5+ years of experience in Public Accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; a Master of Tax is desirable.
- CPA candidate or CPA License is preferred but not required. If not a CPA, the candidate must meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam.
