Role Overview:
You will collaborate closely with the Director of Finance to manage various accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, expense management, and payroll reviews. This role is pivotal in implementing financial systems, training staff, and ensuring smooth operations in our accounting department.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Director of Finance in updating financial procedures and policies, ensuring company-wide dissemination.
Manage the invoicing process, from creation to follow-up on payments.
Review payroll and act as a backup preparer when needed.
Collaborate with the Accounting Clerk to maintain our expense management system.
Prepare revenue share reporting and payments for partners.
Lead the monthly close process, including reconciling balance sheet accounts and preparing journal entries.
Develop templates for reconciliations and reporting purposes.
Maintain our record management system and ensure data accuracy.
Generate financial reports in compliance with GAAP standards.
What We're Looking For:

Minimum of 5 years of previous bookkeeping or accounting experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Proficiency in Google Suite and QuickBooks Online is preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including sumif, lookup formulas, and pivot tables, are required.
