The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Montana seeks applications for the position of Instructor . This is a ten (10)-month (academic-year) position, renewable contingent on satisfactory performance and funding availability, beginning August 2024. The selected candidate may also be offered the opportunity to teach future summer semester classes on a separate contract.
Duties and responsibilities include: working with Department faculty, as well as faculty from affected programs to teach introductory general, organic and biological chemistry lecture and discussion groups to natural science, ecology, pre-nursing and allied health students. In this position you will also be responsible for developing an introductory laboratory class suitable for pre-nursing students.

Entry Rate: $55,000- $60,000, commensurate with qualifications

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Montana has twelve full-time faculty and offers undergraduate degrees in ACS-certified chemistry, biochemistry, computational biochemistry, forensic chemistry, and environmental and pharmacological chemistry.
